About the Role

Join our team at Transit Systems Queensland as an Operations Supervisor based in New Chum. You will oversee the daily operations, ensuring on-time service delivery and resource allocation within budget constraints. This role demands a keen focus on safety, excellence in driver and staff management, and the ability to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the workplace..

Duties

• Manage bus drivers with a zero tolerance for safety breaches.
  
• Handle driver management tasks, including leave budgeting, planning and roster development and changes.
  
• Oversee daily bus allocations and manage emergency scenarios.
  
• Ensure Incident and Accident reporting is accurate and timely.
  
• Lead and promote engagement activities and provide professional feedback.
  
• Advocate for company Diversity, Inclusion programs and the Reconciliation Action Plan.

About You

• Background in bus transport, transport, or logistics.
  
• 2-3 years of industry experience in a comparative position.
  
• MR (or greater) licence, Drivers Certificate, and Working with Children Check required.
  
• Tertiary qualifications in Transport/Logistics/Business Administration are desirable.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence positive outcomes.
  
• Confident leadership style with a knack for motivating teams.
  
• Calm under pressure and adept at handling multiple priorities.
  
• Intermediate computer literacy, including MS Office.
