We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our engineering team in Hoxton Park, Sydney. Reporting to the NSW Fleet & Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our fleet is maintained safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
What you'll doOversee and coordinate daily workflow in the workshop. Provide technical guidance and support to management. Ensure safety standards and company policies are consistently met. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Manage and develop the engineering team. Oversee stock orders and inventory to maintain cost-effective levels. Conduct fleet inspections to a high standard. Achieve KPIs and company objectives. Provide on-the-job training to upskill the engineering team.
About YouRelevant trade certificate with experience in heavy vehicle or bus fleet maintenance. Ability to obtain Heavy Vehicle Inspection Scheme (HVIS) authority. Strong knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment regulations. HR Licence, or willingness to obtain one. Proficient in record keeping, office administration, and computer programs (TIMS knowledge desirable). Computer literate with strong organisational skills.
