The PS Murray Princess is the largest inland paddle wheeler in the Southern Hemisphere.  Accommodating a maximum of 120 guests and operating 3, 4 and 7-night cruises on the Murray River from Mannum, 87 kilometres from Adelaide, this stunning vessel attracts guests from all over Australia and the world.

About the role

The Bar Manager is an integral position in the hospitality operations on the Murray Princess. They are responsible for all aspects of bar work including cocktail mixing, tray and table service, and wine waiting with a strong focus on guest service. The Bar Manager is accountable for the responsible service of alcohol, stock supplies, control and ordering, daily financial reports, cleanliness of the bar and staff supervision.

All meals and accommodation on board the Murray Princess when rostered on duty are included.

This position requires energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling, time management, and a passion for selling a wide assortment of products while demonstrating exceptional customer service and product knowledge.

• Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate - essential

• Espresso coffee-making abilities - desirable
• Tourism & hospitality experience - desirable
