Must be in Western Australia. ________________________________________ Role & Responsibilites As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic at Swan Transit, your responsibilities will include: Maintaining our fleet of buses to the highest safety and operational standards. Ensuring the delivery of clean, safe, and comfortable transport for the community. Conducting thorough safety inspections and compliance checks. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical issues. Performing preventative maintenance to meet roadworthy standards. Collaborating with a skilled team to maintain service efficiency.
Desirable but not essential: We welcome qualified mechanics with a strong work ethic, technical proficiency, and a commitment to excellence. ________________________________________ About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A recognised Australian mechanical trade qualification with demonstrated hands-on experience. A minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) class driver’s licence or higher. Proficiency in basic computer applications and a collaborative, proactive approach to work. A strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment. The ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including a medical assessment and National Police Clearance.
