About the Role

Are you ready for an adventure? We are offering a trade qualified Chef De Partie the chance to delight restaurant guests with innovative dishes at Kingfisher Bay Resort on the beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island), Queensland.

 

You will bring a flair for creativity and a love for culinary pleasure, are an enthusiastic team player who is not just skilled in the kitchen but also passionate about delivering top-notch service and contributing to the resort magic.

This full-time role (76 hours per fortnight across a broad rostering system) requires you to relocate and live on the island at Kingfisher Bay Resort. 

 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent higher education (required)
  • Food Safety Course (Essential)
  • Minimum 2-years in a Chef de Partie role (preferred)
  • Advanced communication and organisational skills
  • Efficient and effective time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Previous experience within multi outlet resort / hotel environment
