We’re looking for enthusiastic team players who are not just skilled in the kitchen but are also passionate about delivering top-notch service and contributing to the magic of our resorts. This role requires you to move and live on the island at Kingfisher Bay Resort or K'gari Beach Resort. Affordable Island Living at $310.50 per fortnight includes accommodation, 3 meals every day, utilities and Wi-Fi. Escape the hustle and cost of big city iving and pocket the savings!
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent higher education (a must-have!)
Food Safety Course (essential—because “safety first” is part of our culture!)
Flexibility to work across various shifts—because island life is full of surprises!
Advanced communication and organizational skills.
Time management skills that would impress even the busiest bees.
Proven experience in a high-volume kitchen environment—you know how to handle the heat!

K'gari is a World Heritage listed island off Fraser Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is the world’s largest sand island, stretching over 120km. Featuring amazing wildlife, towering rainforests and over 100 freshwater lakes to swim in, including the iconic Lake McKenzie and Lake Wabby.
