We are seeking a professional with proven experience in the Australian bus industry, strong expertise in bus service contracts and performance frameworks, and a solid understanding of data analysis and operational reporting.

In this role, you will leverage complex operational and contractual data to generate actionable insights, strengthen contract performance, and drive initiatives that improve service delivery, efficiency, compliance, and reliability across the network.

What you’ll be doing

• Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and contractual performance
• Support contract compliance and reporting requirements
• Build business cases including cost-benefit analysis and scenario modelling
• Drive performance improvement and transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, IT, and Commercial teams
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Demonstrated experience in the Australian bus industry, with a strong understanding of bus service contracts, KPIs, compliance obligations, and performance frameworks
• Strong data analytics capability with experience handling complex operational and contractual datasets
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, NetBI, or similar
• Experience in contract performance reporting, business case development, or transformation projects
• Ability to interpret both operational and contractual data and translate it into practical, business-focused outcomes
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across Operations, Planning, Commercial, and Contract teams
• Experience working in a regulated public transport or infrastructure environment is highly desirable
