(This is not a Head Chef role) About Us The PS Murray Princess is the largest inland paddle wheeler in the Southern Hemisphere. Accommodating a maximum of 120 guests and operating 3, 4, and 7-night cruises on the Murray River, this stunning vessel attracts guests from all over Australia and the world and operates all year round. About the role Chef 3 is an integral position in the hospitality operations on the Murray Princess. The primary function is to assist food services in the galley and dining room to company standards and in accordance with safe food handling guidelines. Chef 3 supports our Chef 2 and the Head Chef daily. Opportunities to work as a Galley Hand are also available. The Chef 3 is responsible for assisting in preparing, cooking, and serving meals for passengers and crew. They work in close conjunction with the Head Chef in the supervision and guidance of food service staff and to delegate authority where required to enable hygienic, timely, and nutritious food service. The Chef 3 is expected to ensure that schedules are adequately serviced and that the Galley and all its appliances, storage areas, and fridges/freezers are clean and sanitized at the end of every shift in accordance with health regulations and company policy. This role requires energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling, and time management. You MUST be able to manage a fast pace in a busy environment. These key requirements will be complimented by experience and skills in the following areas: - Minimum of 1 year kitchen/cookery experience - Essential

- Certificate qualification in Commercial Cookery or working towards
- Food safety course/training - Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role
