Guest Relations Agent (Driver)
Sealink K'gari - Hervey Bay, Qld

 

About the Role

As our trusted Guest Relations Agent (Mainland Driver), your role will primarily be to pick up and drop off K'gari Explorer Tour guests. You will be required to greet all guests, assist with their luggage and create a wonderful first and last impression on arrival and departure from Kingfisher Bay Resort. The Guest Relations Agent (GRA) is the first and last person who will interact with the guests and are expected to provide and maintain exceptional customer service. Their goal is to ensure all guests have a great start and finish to their visit. This is a unique opportunity (and position) as you will be required to work a variety of shifts including some split shifts, e.g. 6am - 9am, 5pm-7pm, approximately 4-5 hours per day and on a roster of 4 days on / 3 days off. It is a permanent part-time position paying $28.32 per hour.  

 

About You

Do you have what it takes? Are you a people person who really enjoys driving? We are in search of motivated local drivers who already have their MR Licence and Drivers Authority. You are ready to join our diverse team of tourism lovers and are passionate about supporting the Kingfisher Bay Resort Group. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive our well recognised branded buses/vans/cars to pick up and drop off guests from various locations
  • Meet and greet all guests, assist with their luggage and deliver luggage to the barge at River Heads
  • Pack the luggage truck for departing barges
  • Liaise with our Vessel Masters and Cruise Directors / Deckhands for the safe loading and unloading of vessel
  • When requested assist the Mainland office with check in, check outs, answering incoming calls
  • Washing and cleaning buses, and trucks on a regular basis 
  • Daily Vehicle Checks
  • Abide by all Workplace Health and Safety rules and regulations at all times
  • Any reasonable additional duties as directed

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • A valid manual MR licence – essential to the role
  • A valid Drivers Authority – essential to the role
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role 
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong computer skills
