SeaLink Marine & Tourism - South East Queensland SeaLink South East Queensland is seeking Expressions of Interest for an internal opportunity as Full Time Master less than 45m NC. The role is based on Cleveland and Redland Bay. Experience operating as a Master within SeaLink operations will be regarded favourably, however employees currently working in other roles who meet the qualification requirements are encouraged to express interest. About the Role As a Full Time Master, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of vessels, while upholding SeaLink’s standards of safety, leadership, customer service and reliability. Key responsibilities include: - Safe navigation and operation of the vessel
- Ensuring the health and safety of passengers and crew
- Providing effective leadership and direction onboard
- Ensuring compliance with maritime legislation, company policies and procedures
- Implementing and maintaining the vessel’s Safety Management System
This role operates across a seven‑day roster, including weekends and public holidays. About You You are a committed SeaLink team member who: - Holds a current Master <45m NC Certificate of Competency

- Shows professionalism, reliability and sound judgement

Qualifications and Experience - Master < 45m NC (Certificate of Competency) - Essential
- MED 3 or higher - Essential
- Current Certificate of medical fitness for near coastal seafarers (AMSA form 1850) - Essential
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR - Essential
- Provide Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014) and CPR – Desirable
- Hold or have the ability to obtain a PEC for the Moreton Bay area - Highly desirable
- Demonstrated Leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
