ABOUT THE ROLE 📍 Location: Kingsgrove, NSW Key Responsibilities: - Invoice Processing: Accurately process a high volume of invoices and ensure they are matched to purchase orders and receipts, adhering to company policies.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with our suppliers and vendors, handling inquiries and resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Payments & Reconciliations: Ensure that all payments are processed on time, and assist in reconciling accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Monthly Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports and summaries, providing insights into financial performance.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures. Assist with internal and external audits when required.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and report on travel and other business-related expenses, ensuring all claims are in line with company guidelines.
What We’re Looking For: - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within a large-scale operation or transport-related industry.
- Accuracy and thoroughness are critical in this role. You’ll need to be comfortable working with large volumes of data and processing payments swiftly without compromising quality.
- Experience with accounting software (preferably with ERP systems) and a strong understanding of financial transactions.
- The ability to identify discrepancies or issues within accounts and take the initiative to resolve them promptly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.
- A collaborative approach to work and an eagerness to support your team in achieving common goals.
