Swan Transit is seeking experienced and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team at Mount Claremont depot on a full-time basis, offering an excellent work–life balance. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical workmanship across our modern fleet of Volvo and Mercedes buses and gain exposure to new technology, as public transport continues to evolve. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have: - A relevant mechanical trade qualification (Heavy Diesel)
- Proven experience working as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- A minimum HR (or higher) driver’s licence
- Ability to work a rotating roster of 45 hours per week
- Basic computer literacy
- A positive, proactive, and reliable work ethic
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- A strong team-focused approach
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance
