About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Full Time Cleaner & Car Park Attendant to support the daily presentation and smooth operation of our busy tourism and transport facilities.

 

This is more than just a cleaning role. You will play a key part in ensuring our terminal and car park areas are safe, clean, and welcoming for customers travelling to and from one of North Queensland’s most iconic destinations. Your work will directly contribute to the overall customer experience.

 

The role involves:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across terminal facilities and amenities
  • Monitoring and managing car park operations, including customer assistance and general upkeep
  • Providing friendly and professional assistance to customers when required
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
  • Working collaboratively with the broader operations team to ensure efficient daily operations

  • Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM

These attributes will be complemented by experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Senior First Aid and Resuscitation qualifications
  • Cash handling experience
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management
  • Problem-solving and conflict management skills
