Transit Systems NSW is seeking a motivated and operationally focused Operations Supervisor to join our team at South Granville Depot.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery across our network while supporting drivers, coordinators, and frontline operations staff. About the RoleReporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily depot activities and act as a key operational point of contact during shifts. You will assist in managing operational performance, supporting employee engagement, resolving operational issues, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with all operational, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership capability, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional within a dynamic operational environment. Key Responsibilities- Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day management of depot operations
- Assist in coordinating operational staff and supporting frontline service delivery
- Monitor operational performance and address service delivery issues in real time
- Respond to driver, customer, and operational inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and customer complaints, including CCTV review and reporting
- Conduct routine depot yard and fleet inspections
- Support employee engagement, coaching, and performance management activities
- Liaise closely with Operations, Workshop, and Area Management teams
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ and operational policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation
- Monitor radio communications and provide operational support to drivers during shifts
