About Torrens Transit

Torrens Transit, a major subsidiary of Transit Systems and the ASX listed Kelsian Group, is the primary public mobility provider in Adelaide. Moving approximately three quarters of the city's bus commuters, we operate a sprawling metropolitan network of over 800 buses across six metropolitan depots. What we need from you:

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities. The coordinator will have a diverse set of responsibilities, which include acting as the primary contact point for all facets of facility management. This involves overseeing the facilities management system as well as coordinating both scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, processing invoices, and managing operational financial spending.

You will need to possess the following essential skills and experience:

  • Proven Experience:Demonstrated experience in a facilities management role, or a similar administrative management position.
  • Organisational Prowess:Strong organisational and time management skills, including prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring efficient operations.
  • Technical Proficiency:Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office suite and experience with using task allocation software.
  • Communication Excellence:Strong communication skills - written and verbal at all levels, with proven ability to clearly communicate information to various audiences, both internally and externally.
  • Relationship Builder:Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with proven ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Detail Oriented:Great time management skills while maintaining high attention to detail, managing multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Safety Advocate:Strong HSEQ knowledge with a safety focused mindset, demonstrating a commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Reporting Expertise:Ability to compile and present reports and data related to facilities management, including performance metrics, cost analysis, and other relevant information.
