What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Diesel Mechanic experience preferred; Light Vehicle Mechanics encouraged to apply.
  • Qualifications: Trade qualifications in automotive service, diesel, or heavy vehicle mechanics.
  • Licenses: HR driver’s license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Skills: Proficiency in automotive repairs and computer diagnostics.
  • Location: Must reside in Australia.

What to Expect:

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with a skilled team to maintain our fleet efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Choose from overtime options before/after shifts and weekends.
  • On-Call: Participate in a rotating on-call shift with penalty bonuses for after-hours breakdowns.
  • Career Pathways: Training available for license upgrades and specializations, with potential for a leading hand role.

Scope of Work:

  • Timely Repairs: Ensure buses are road-ready with minor repairs to keep drivers on schedule.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Follow a kilometre-based service schedule, including major services and inspections.
  • Fleet Inspections: Conduct bi-annual inspections for RMS compliance and address any urgent repairs.
