About the opportunity 

We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in ensuring our guests receive the highest standard of service and an unforgettable stay at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working up to 38 hours across a broad rostering system over 7 days. We also provide the flexibility to work 10 days on and 4 days off.

There is a daily commute to-and-from the island (approx. 45 mins each way) via the barge departing at River Heads, with the occasional overnight stay.

Key Role Requirements

  • The ability to work across a broad rostering system, over a 7 day working week
  • The ability to work during peak seasonal periods
  • Ability to take direction, take on multiple tasks at once, and follow standard daily job boards and lists
  • Ability to work autonomously or in teams; proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Meticulous attention to detail; looking further than the obvious
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other resort departments
  • Take pride in your customer service abilities to ensure our guests experience on island is one to remember! 

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • A valid manual licence; not essential but will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in a resort / hotel / motel housekeeping environment (highly regarded)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Great time management skills
