About the Role


You will have the opportunity to lead a team of skilled and enthusiastic individuals, across both resorts - Kingfisher Bay Resort and Eurong Beach Resort. Your role will drive sales and involve leading teams to provide exceptional customer experiences, to achieve all aspects of the stores performance ensuring that every customer is given an outstanding experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.…do you think you have what it takes?


Key Role Responsibilities

  • Drive outstanding Customer Experience while leading, developing and overseeing the teams
  • Create and deliver daily plans and strategies to ensure store & individual budgets and KPI’s are achieved
  • Manage, support and develop a team
  • Execute & manage visual merchandising to match customer needs within the stores
  • Oversee and assist with all operational aspects of the store; goods receiving, stock ordering and control, stocking shelves, point of sale, rosters, wage control, and budgetary growth
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent sales service by you and the team
  • Keep up to date with product information
  • Accurately describe product features and benefits
  • Follow all companies policies and procedures

About You

  • Demonstrated prior experience as a professional and respected retail Manager
  • Demonstrate a desire to challenge yourself to achieve company and personal objectives
  • Have a professional outlook, leading by example in the workplace and show an invested interest in the hustle and bustle of the Hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated experience in a high pressure environment
  • Great time management skills
  • Ability to successfully lead and work as a part of a team, within and across departments
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Immaculate grooming and presentation
  • Cash handling experience
  • Open & Closing procedures experience 
  • Merchandising Experience
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Minimum of 2 years retail supervisory experience working in a fast paced environment would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and delegation skills
  • Provide feedback, encouragement, and support to your team where required

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • A valid Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or less), or the ability to obtain one 
  • A valid Food Handling Certificate – or the ability to obtain one for work – highly regarded
  • A valid Queensland RSA 
  • The ability to work across a broad rostering system, over a 10 day working fortnight
