The opportunity

Bring your strategic management and natural leadership skills to the Food and Beverage team at K'gari Beach Resort. We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who enjoys the remote coastal lifestyle and is looking for their next career move. 

With an unbeatable beachfront location, the resort is accessible via 4WD and is the east coast's go-to destination to restock and refresh. 'McKenzie's on 75' restaurant is the ultimate venue for travellers to come together and enjoy buffet breakfast and lunch, al-la-carte dinner with an adjacent bar offering an extensive beverage menu.

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be given the reins to drive the continued success of the resorts F&B department by inspiring exceptional customer service, strong team culture and passion for providing every guest with an unforgettable experience.

The ideal candidate will hold experience in...

  • Operational and strategic management of a F&B department.
  • Staff training, supervision and performance management.
  • Stock control, revenue analysis and product promotions.
  • Quality restaurant service and/or high volume buffet service.
  • QLD RSA; strong wine, barista coffee and cocktail knowledge.
  • Hold the unrestricted right to live and work in Australia.
