About the Role
Within this role you will:
- Work as part of team to achieve and exceed budgeted sales targets.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and managing new business opportunities and sales and marketing initiatives including joint sales promotions and co-operative opportunities for building growth in sales revenue and passenger numbers in the competitive Sydney Harbour market.
- Plan, design and coordination of sales materials to assist in the promotion and conversion of sales.
- Assist Sales and Marketing team to develop new products and services to new target markets.
- Manage the Hotel concierge relationships via brochure distribution, relationship management, product training and incentive scheme.
- Where necessary, assist with client/agent familiarisations, site inspections or sales entertaining events.
- Laptop will be provided with data allowance.
What You Bring to the Role
- Have 3 plus years Marketing experience with thorough understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Experience in Adobe Design applications including Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator to create finished/print ready artwork from existing design templates.
- Experience in Print and Digital Media Management programs.
- An understanding of the Hospitality industry, Groups and Charters, MICE market.
- A focus on attention to detail.
- Demonstrated reliability by punctuality and ability to respond and adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to make sound business and operations decisions.
- Keen to work in a small, dynamic Sales and Marketing team and supporting our Reservations, Events and Hospitality Teams reach their KPIs.
- Self-motivated, highly driven to achieve goals and meet deadlines
