SeaLink WA (ASX:SLK) is looking for bright and energetic individuals who have a strong work ethic, a great smile, and an enthusiastic attitude to join 'the friendly crew in blue'.

 

With a total of 3 ferries from Perth and Fremantle out to Rottnest Island, this is a great opportunity to join a committed and experienced team.

 

About the Role

 

You will be required to work a mixture of shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends & public holidays. You will report to the Marine Operations Manager.

 

These are key roles within the organisation and requires leadership, energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling, and time management skills.

 

About You

  • Strong Communication - written and verbal
  • Organisation and planning
  • Ability to perform autonomously and effective delegation
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Proven ability to handle difficult situations
  • Be well presented at all times
  • Ability to interact with guests in a friendly yet professional manner whist promoting the philosophies of SeaLink WA
  • Available to work public holidays, weekends and evenings - Essential
  • Full availability from October to end March - Essential

These key requirements will be complimented by experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Senior First Aid Qualification - Essential
  • Minimum MED2 Qualification - Essential
  • Understanding of AHA COVID-19 hygiene - Essential
  • Current Driver's Licence - Essential
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems - Essential 
  • Knowledge of WH&S Regulations - Essential
