About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Master <35m to join our operations here in South-East Queensland. Working primarily at Redland Bay or Cleveland, this position requires a person who is energetic, motivated, enthusiastic and has the flexibility to meet operational demands.

The Master will be responsible for the daily efficient operation of their vessel, whilst always maintaining excellence in safety, customer service, and reliability. The primary function of the role is the safe and secure operation and navigation of the vessel and to ensure the health and safety of all passengers and crew on board.

The Master ensures the vessel maintains compliance with all relevant laws and company policies and is responsible for the implementation and verification of the vessel’s Safety Management System.

If you are a strong leader, with a high standard of interpersonal and organisational skills, have adept written and verbal communication skills and proven safe ship handling experience this role is for you.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working within fast-paced, dynamic teams; with exceptional leadership, vessel-handling ability, knowledge and compliance of legislation and operating procedures, customer service, and be safety focused.

• MED 3 or Higher - Essential
• Senior First Aid - Essential
• Driver’s License - Essential

• Strong verbal communication skills
