ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the primary role of the Panel Beater is to support the routine servicing of our bus fleet, including maintenance and repairs, spray painting of vehicles and the servicing of workshop equipment.

 

You will work on a modern, well-maintained fleet including Diesel, Gas and Hybrid vehicles (electric coming in early 2023) from Scania, MAN, Mercedes, Volvo, and Iveco, to enable our drivers to provide a safe and efficient service to our community.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Relevant trade certificate.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Great customer service skills for internal stakeholders.
  • Organised, with an ability to prioritise work tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience in minor servicing, collision damage and general repairs.
