Senior Training Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Area Manager, the primary role of our Senior Training Officer is the coordination and leadership of the training and assessment function within the Torrens Transit business.
Based at our Morphettville Depot, you will work across all depot locations (six depots, within metropolitan Adelaide), supporting our drivers in providing a safe and efficient service to our community.
Important functions of the Senior Training Officer include consultation and support for the management team with recruitment activities for bus driver roles, organising and delivering classroom based and practical training programs for new bus drivers as well as the preparation and maintenance of training and policy documentation.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Current Driving Instructor's 'HR' class licence.
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent).
Experience in facilitating group training and induction sessions.
Practical knowledge of implementation of training practices.
Great customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently.
Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft suite of products.
Organised, with an ability to prioritise work tasks.
