About the Role
This role, based in Brisbane, is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of an effective preventive maintenance program and asset management system across SeaLink’s fleet of vessels and supporting infrastructure.
With a solid background in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) you will be instrumental in developing best practice maintenance practices and strategies with auditing and reporting on implementation a key task.
A critical element of the role is working closely with individual Business units to build capacity in maintenance forecasting, planning, scheduling, record keeping, budgeting, coordination, monitoring and reviewing all maintenance activities necessary to maintain the integrity of the Company assets efficiently, effectively and in compliance with regulatory standards.
About You
You will have high level attention to detail and be proficient in the use of (CMMS), with experience in MEX highly desirable. You will be an effective communicator and enjoy working across the broader business to contribute to the success of team.
Minimum 2 years experience in marine maintenance planning, scheduling, and works management using a CMMS or 5 years relevant experience.
Project environment and budgeting experience is required as well as having a solid understanding of cost management and budgeting. You will need to be able to interpret Engineering drawings, OEM manuals, and standards.
