We are currently looking for a full-time Yardperson to join our operations at Cleveland. 

About the role

This exciting position requires a person who is energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic. 

• Carrying out instructions on general maintenance responsibilities as directed by Maintenance Manager.
• Emptying and cleaning of all rubbish bins daily on Sealink sites, including the cleaning of the Cleveland Café.
• Cleaning up rubbish and keeping car parks and surrounding areas of SeaLink and maintenance workshop clean and tidy.
• Ensuring all signage and garden lawns are kept to a high standard.
• Pressure washing of loading ramps and other sites/structures as directed.
• Ensuring all workshop tools and equipment are stored correctly, organised, and are kept in good condition.
• Carrying out minor repairs to ferry loading facilities and any other structures as directed.
• Assisting mechanics with other general duties as directed

About You 

• Relevant work experience in duties as a Yardperson
• Work harmoniously within the maintenance team and always remain professional
• Ability to meet dealdines and work to a high standard 
• Strong organisational skills and a self-starter
• Be well presented at all times

 Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Driver’s License – Essential
• HR License – Essential
• Forklift Ticket – Essential
• Confined Spaces Working at Heights – Preferred
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with co-workers
