SeaLink Sydney Harbour is looking for a full time, and motivated Assistant Venue Manager who is passionate about the smooth operation of a large commercial dining vessel. SeaLink Sydney Harbour encompasses the iconic brands of Captain Cook Cruises, The Jackson and Starship Sydney. Our fleet includes 16 vessels catering for 1000’s of passengers on any departure. As a Assistant Venue Manager for SeaLink Sydney Harbour, your day will consist of overseeing the operation of our flagship vessel the Sydney 2000. You will report to the Venue Manager and lead at team of up to 35 food and beverage staff.
Your role will involve all of the venue essentials including overseeing the daily operations, overseeing open/closing procedures, back of house, ordering and receiving stock, rostering and ensuring the guest experience is memorable each time.
The successful applicant will poses a minimum of 3 years in a restaurant supervisory role.

About You To be successful you must: - Demonstrated experience in restaurant operations (minimum 3 years)
- Strong commitment to organisational values
- Food and beverage service knowledge
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage time effectively
- Display professional and quality work standards
- Ability to lead and train a team of food and beverage staff
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Strict compliance with all safety and manual handling procedures
- Knowledge of WHS standards and a commitment to workplace safety, and
- Ability to work a range of shifts, including weekends.
Required Qualifications: - Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (Essential)
