Marketing Coordinator
Adelaide CBD - Permanent Full Time

 

About the role

 

SeaLink South Australia is seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our vibrant team. This is not your typical marketing coordinator role – if you’re looking for a broader challenge that combines marketing, sponsorship, and relationship-building, this is the perfect role for you!

 

As our Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with internal teams, community stakeholders, and external partners to drive impactful marketing initiatives across our iconic South Australian brands: SeaLink Kangaroo Island, Murray Princess, and Adelaide Sightseeing. You will coordinate marketing and communications and manage the execution of sponsorship and community programs. This role calls for confidence in marketing, delivering on projects, creativity in communication, and a collaborative approach to building relationships.

 

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, South Australia, this exciting role has a broad range of marketing touchpoints providing a great opportunity to spread your wings and further develop your professional career.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver on marketing activities across our three brands, with a high focus on sponsorships, partnerships, and community programs
  • Manage the execution of sponsorships and SeaLink's CommunityLink Program, building strong ties with local communities and partners
  • Coordinate the Marketing Partner Program, overseeing applications, agreements, and liaising with key stakeholders
  • Assist with event promotions and corporate hospitality in conjunction with the Business Development and Sales Team
  • Create engaging content for websites, brochures, social media, and other digital platforms
  • Coordinate print and distribution of marketing collateral including brochures, signage and promotional material as required
  • Assist in the development and distribution of internal and external communications

Key requirements complimented by experience and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a marketing or business discipline - essential
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills - essential
  • Experience in a similar marketing role – essential
  • Experience managing sponsorships and events - desirable
  • Experience working with various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator - essential
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience in the Tourism or Events Industry – desirable
