Transit Systems is currently looking for a passionate reliable Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, auto electricians, body repairers and air condition repairers to join our growing team at our Leichhardt depot.

About the Company

Transit Systems is an Australian owned multi-national public transport company and we currently operate bus services in Sydney's metropolitan Region 3 contract network, covering Liverpool, Fairfield and Holroyd areas. Recently we were awarded Sydney’s metropolitan Region 2 contract network, covering Ingleburn, Bringelly, Glenfield, Campbelltown and Narellan areas.  

From 1 July 2018, Transit Systems commenced operating services in Sydney’s Region 6 Inner West contract network, from Burwood, Kingsgrove, Leichhardt and Tempe depots.

The Role

We are currently seeking applications for the above roles to join our team. These positions will be based at our Leichhardt Depot with an immediate start for the right candidate”

Summary

 We search for people who are passionate about what they do, can reliably deliver excellence, are motivated to serve our community and committed to providing a quality service.

Working on our large fleet of buses, you will be responsible for all aspects of bus maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled servicing, as well as diagnosis, reporting and repair of vehicle faults.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• An uncompromising approach to health and safety;
• Relevant trade qualifications (experience within the bus industry desirable);
• A Heavy Vehicle Licence, or be willing and able to obtain one;
• The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team; and
• Excellent communication skills.
