The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for supporting the Director of Food and Beverage in the operations of the department. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the day-to-day functioning of the Resort’s food and beverage outlets, this role will take immense pride in delivering service excellence and unforgettable experiences to our guests.

Other responsibilities include maximizing profitability, meeting and exceeding customer’s needs and service expectations, ensuring team members are skilled to resort standard, and training and supporting all team members in all areas of the operation.

About you

• Demonstrated high level of communication skills, people management skills and the ability to deal effectively with culturally diverse people.
• Has a strong work ethic and leads others to achieve objectives and deliver results in high-volume, high-pressure environments
• Exceptional grooming and presentation 
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Great negotiation, delegation and time management skills

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Food and Beverage Manager role 
• Strong understanding of RSA requirements under the QLD Liquor Licensing Laws 
• Competent in barista and beverage making duties (highly regarded)
• Demonstrated food and beverage skills, including a la carte and bar service (highly regarded)
• Food Safety Course (Essential)  
• Current QLD RSA certificate (Essential) 
• RMLV certificate or ability to complete
