About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Food and Beverage Operations Manager role will be responsible for the supervision of the day-to-day functioning of the Resort’s Food and Beverage outlets, directly managing the McKenzie’s Restaurant and the Eurong Bakery. You will drive operational success by inspiring exceptional customer service, building strong team culture and a passion for providing every guest with an unforgettable experience. Other responsibilities include maximizing profitability, meeting and exceeding customer’s needs and service expectations, ensuring team members are trained to the expected standard, and supporting all team members in all areas of the operation. About you - Demonstrated high level of communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with a broad range of people
- Has a strong work ethic and leads others to achieve objectives
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Able to negotiate, delegate and work under pressure
- Exceptional grooming and presentation
Requirements - Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Food and Beverage Manager role
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Understanding of Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements under the QLD Liquor Licensing Laws and holds current QLD RSA certificate (essential)
- Food Safety Course (essential)
- Authorization to live and work in Australia
- Competent in barista and beverage making duties
- Demonstrated food and beverage skills, including a la carte and bar service
- RMLV certificate or ability to complete
