Guest Service Agent
Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari

About the Role

We are looking for a positive, motivated and professional Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic Front Office team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island). The Guest Service Agent is primarily responsible for ensuring a proficient and genuine customer service delivery to provide an exception guest experience.

 

This is a permanent part-time position, and our ideal candidate will have resort/hotel front desk experience and the willingness to live on island role where you work and live at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Welcome all guests and conduct premium check in service
  • Provide guest customer service and coordination of general enquires
  • Be knowledgeable of resort areas and confidence in recommending available experiences and activities
  • Coordinate guest and barge arrivals and departures
  • High grooming standards
  • Maintain guest accounts, billing arrangements and payments on check out 
  • Follow in house policies and procedures to maintain guest security

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extraordinarily high level of customer service and work ethic
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a large Hotel or Resort based environment
  • Demonstrated experience in daily cashiering procedures, credit card reconciliation
  • Knowledge of property management systems 
  • Demonstrate people management skills and an understanding of cultural diversity within the workplace
