Hotel Service Supervisor – Kingfisher Bay Resort, K’gari (Fraser Island) About the Role We are looking an exceptional Hotel Service Supervisor who enjoys working and living in an island resort environment leading a dynamic team and ensuring customer excellence. The position is located at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island). Kingfisher Bay Resort is part of the KBRV Resort Operations Pty Ltd, and a subsidiary of Kelsian Group Limited. Reporting directly to the Director of F&B services this is a full-time permanent position where you'll live and work in paradise… The base salary for this role is between $75,000 to $85,000. The job entails: - Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the day-to-day functioning of the Resort's Food and Beverage outlets, restaurants and employees' time and duties.
- Oversee Customer requests, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage complaints and escalations through to a positive resolution.
- Collaborate and Influence other Department Managers to ensure coordination across departments
- Assisting with managing employee activities including but not limited to attendance, leave, records, rosters ad timesheets.
- Lead the communication, engagement and culture across teams.
- Promote and ensure alignment to workplace health and safety regulations
- Supervise team operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and changes
- Address and manage employee concerns and resolve workplace issues
- Other supervisory duties across the resort and all areas as requested by Senior Managers.
Your Skills, Qualifications & Experience You will have: - Must have at least a relevant Diploma or higher
- At least one-year proven experience in a frontline service leadership role
- Evidence of supervisory qualification or certifications and traineeship
- Proven experience working within an Island hotel / resort environment
- Good leadership skills to drive high performance, culture and meet goals
- Ability to lead and influence, and work in fast paced environment in order to adapt and establish work requirements and assign duties
- Valid Queensland RSA certificate with wine and cocktail knowledge
- Be willing to perform other hotel and supervisory duties as directed
- Proven experience working within an island hotel/resort environment is an advantage
