Kelsian Group Limited has created an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Payroll Officer to gain hands-on payroll experience working within a highly skilled payroll team. The role will be supported with fully funded part time study, to obtain a Certificate IV in Payroll Administration, which will be available within the first year.  All on the job training will be provided.  The role is based in Adelaide CBD working 5 days a week.

 

About the Role - What will you do?

  • Maintenance of payroll and staff records; including processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
  • Processing end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payrolls in MicrOpay Payroll software for multiple legal entities in Australia
  • Maintenance and utilisation of Deputy (Time and Attendance System)
  • Assisting with the interpretation and ensuring correct application of Enterprise Agreements (EA), Awards, and Employment Contracts
  • Support staff and management's payroll queries
  • Preparation of reports, monthly reconciliations, and journals
  • Actively maintaining and supporting HR systems and initiatives
