*Conditions and employment duration may apply About the Role K'gari Beach Resort, nestled amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, is seeking dedicated individuals for vacancies in our housekeeping department. Our eco-friendly resort offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning environment while providing exceptional guest experiences. As a permanent part-time Housekeeping Attendant, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest accommodation. This role offers consistent part-time employment of up to 76 hours per fortnight (including weekends and seasonal holiday periods) and is a 'live on' position. Very affordable private accommodation - includes utilities, Wi-Fi and 3 meals every day at $310.50 per fortnight. So you can pocket the living expense savings and get away from the hustle and bustle of big city life! Your Role: - Clean and service guest rooms to resort standards
- Maintain cleanliness of public and shared areas
- Follow safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures
- Assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Work as part of a team to meet room turnaround times
- Report maintenance issues and damages
- Manage lost and found items
- Dispose of waste correctly
What we're looking for: - Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies and to be able to work in the warm weather during summer days.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
