Horizons West Bus and Coachlines is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Payroll & Accounts Receivable Officer. This position is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll and accounts receivable processes while supporting financial compliance and administrative functions.
Duties
- Accounts Receivable:
- Raise and issue customer invoices per service agreements and bookings.
- Monitor and reconcile customer payments against bank statements.
- Follow up on aged debtors and escalate overdue accounts.
- Payroll Administration:
- Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for wages and salaried staff.
- Maintain and update employee data, including banking and superannuation.
- Administer PAYG withholding tax and calculate termination payments.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience - Certificate IV in Payroll Administration or similar is preferred.
- 1-2 years' experience in payroll administration for business with 200+ employees.
- Advanced data entry skills and intermediate computer knowledge (MS Word, Office, Excel).
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work autonomously.
