SeaLink Marine & Tourism is seeking expressions of interest for a passionate and experienced Venue Manager to lead operations onboard The Starship Group.

About the Role

As Venue Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of premium food and beverage experiences across The Starship Group. From exclusive private events to luxury charters, you’ll oversee all hospitality operations.

A typical day in the role may include:

• Lead hospitality operations onboard the Starship Vessels, ensuring seamless guest experiences and premium service delivery.
• Review crew rosters and confirm staffing levels across both Starship vessels.
• Manage and train stewards, bar staff and hospitality crew to deliver exceptional customer experience for bespoke events.
• Work in collaboration with Head Chef and Vessel Master to ensure over all vessel efficiency.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training under the direction of the Head of Hospitality.
• Promote and maintain a vibrant, positive team culture.
• Monitor onboard stock and control costs through effective venue management.
• Develop or update procedures that align with company policies for the Starship Vessels under the guidance of the Head of Hospitality.
• Capture feedback from clients and team members post-charter to drive continuous improvement.
• Support other vessels when required as a Cruise Director.
