Position SummaryJoin our team as a key support to the Workshop Manager, ensuring our depot runs smoothly through efficient management of maintenance inventory, accurate record-keeping, and reliable coordination of daily store operations. About the RoleIn this hands-on and fast-paced position, you will: Keep our inventory moving by maintaining accurate receipts, records, and stock withdrawals Receive, unload, and neatly shelve incoming stock Organise materials safely and logically within designated bin locations for easy access Handle a wide range of stock tasks including receiving, checking, locating, despatching, and delivering items to other depots Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly for follow-up Maintain thorough documentation to support effective stock control and ensure the right materials are always on hand Use computer systems to complete inventory, data entry, and other administrative tasks
What You BringWe’re looking for someone who thrives in a structured, warehouse-style environment and brings: Solid understanding of computer-based inventory systems Knowledge of warehousing best practices and store operations Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations Clear and confident written and verbal communication Competence in data entry, analysis, and records management Exceptional attention to detail and strong time-management abilities Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift Comfort using common office equipment A valid driver’s licence, with willingness to obtain and maintain forklift certification Physical capability to frequently lift items up to 16 kg, and occasionally up to 25 kg
