Join an award-winning tourism and transport company ASX Listed with over 12,000+ employees globally About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Bid Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality, compliant and competitive submissions for government-contracted bus services. This role combines bid project management and writing support, and partners with internal SMEs and external advisors to deliver compelling bids on time and to a high standard. You will contribute directly to strategic growth by helping us retain existing contracts, win new contracts in priority markets, and lift consistency and quality across all tender deliverables. Duties Manage end-to-end tender delivery, including developing delivery plans, milestones, dependencies and critical paths, and coordinating bid governance activities such as kick-offs, reviews, approvals and submission lodgement. Coordinate bid inputs and stakeholders across internal functions and external advisors, tracking actions, risks and issues and escalating matters impacting quality, compliance or timelines. Draft, edit and refine high-quality tender responses aligned to evaluation criteria and win themes, translating technical and operational SME input into clear, consistent and compelling proposal content. Ensure consistency, accuracy and quality across all submission documents, including executive summaries, methodologies, transition plans, value propositions and supporting schedules. Maintain compliance frameworks and quality assurance processes, including compliance matrices, response registers, document control, review cycles and final submission readiness checks. Drive continuous improvement across tender processes by capturing lessons learned, supporting post-tender debriefs, and maintaining response libraries, templates and standard content.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience - Tertiary Qualifications in a Business, Communications, Project Management, Commerce or related discipline (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in Bids/Tenders, Business Development, or Proposals
- Experience in government procurement and/or public transport (desirable).
- Exceptional written communication skills, including drafting, editing and proofreading high-quality, compliant tender responses with strong attention to detail.
- Commercially minded and highly organised, able to balance quality, compliance, risk and time pressures.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Willingness to travel as required to support bid planning, workshops, and submissions.
