Are you an organised and energetic Events Coordinator who loves bringing memorable experiences to life? We are currently seeking an Events Coordinator (Charters) to join our dynamic team. This role plays an important part in supporting the sales and coordination of private events across our fleet.
SeaLink Marine & Tourism Sydney operates Sydney Harbour’s most prestigious fleet of vessels, including The Jackson superyacht, Starship Sydney and Captain Cook Cruises. From elegant weddings and milestone celebrations to corporate events and Christmas parties, we believe there is no better venue than Sydney Harbour — the world’s most beautiful Harbour.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Charters, the Events Coordinator supports the planning and administration of private charters and special events onboard our fleet.
You will assist in managing enquiries, preparing proposals and coordinating event logistics to ensure exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities include:
Assist with charter and event enquiries and support the sales team in converting leads
Prepare proposals, event documentation and client communications
Coordinate event details with clients, suppliers and internal teams
Support the smooth delivery of events across The Jackson, Starship vessels and Captain Cook Cruises
Maintain accurate records, contracts and event information
Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships
Assist the team in achieving charter sales targets
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about events and hospitality.You will bring:
Experience in events, hospitality, tourism or sales coordination
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Confidence using Microsoft Office and general business systems
Professional presentation and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential.
