Internal Opportunity - 6 weeks Temporary Part-Time Secondment SeaLink South East Queensland is seeking Expressions of Interest from internal employees to undertake a temporary secondment as Cultural Program Coordinator within our Sales & Marketing team. This secondment is a great opportunity to gain exposure to cultural program coordination, sponsorship management and sales and marketing support, while working closely with our Indigenous Cultural Program Lead. About The Secondment - Role: Cultural Program Coordinator - Temporary Secondment
- Department/s: Sales & Marketing (with continuing support to Reservations & Customer Service as required)
- Location/s: Shore Street, Cleveland Office for Secondment days / rostered location for Reservations days
- Secondment dates: Active assignment 6 weeks from 25 May to 3 July 2026
- Working arrangement:
- 3 weekdays per week with the Sales & Marketing team
- Available to support Reservations outside of these days
About The Role In this role, you will support the coordination of SeaLink SEQ's Indigenous Cultural Program and sponsorship activities. You'll work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Indigenous Cultural Program Lead to ensure bookings, events and communications are delivered professionally and seamlessly. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting scheduling and coordination of cultural events, workshops, medical engagement and travel
- Acting as a key point of contact for the Indigenous Cultural Program Lead
- Managing sponsorship bookings, including vouchers and invoicing
- Liasing with operations, customers and vendors
- Maintaining accurate records in Monday.com and Quick Travel
- Supporting internal cultural awareness programs and cultural familiarisation activities
- Assisting the Sales & marketing team with related administration and coordination task
Exceptional customer service, attention to detail and strong communication are central to this role. About You This opportunity would suit someone who: - Is currently working within Reservations and Customer Service
- Has existing knowledge of Quick Travel
- Has strong administrative and organisation skills
- Communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Works well across teams and departments
- Has an interest in sales, marketing, events or cultural programs (desirable)
