The opportunity

We are searching for a trade qualified Carpenter who is ready to join our team of dedicated tradespeople based at Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager.  This role will play a key part in maintaining resort standards, building, repair and maintence, projects work and ensuring our compliance is adhere to.  The role may work across all our K'gari sites but will be based at Kingfisher Bay Resort.  

This is a full-time permanent opportunity working up to 76 hours per fortnight requiring relocation into the resorts staff village. Kingfisher Bay Resort is the premiere eco accommodation on K'gari, the world's biggest sand island. This sustainably built, integrated resort offers hotel, villa and house accommodation for 1000+ guests and employees.

Essential Skills and experience you'll bring to the role:

• Carpenter trade certification
• Proven experience in domestic, commercial or resort/hotel settings
• Experience with Bathroom/Kitchen Renovations
• Strong safety focus, knowledge of WHS practises and ability to work unsupervised.
• Hold a valid Manual QLD licence. 
• Hold the right to live and work in Australia indefinitely
