About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist who has worked in a fast-paced environment to join our busy Performance & Culture Team… do you think you have what it takes?
This is a permanent full-time role. The successful applicant may be based in our Brisbane or Hervey Bay Offices, with travel to K'gari (Fraser Island) required to meet the operational requirements of the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake end to end recruitment across all departments for the SeaLink K'gari (Fraser Island) Group
- Facilitate the recruitment flowchart process by developing and maintaining effective relationships
- Liaise with and maintain effective relationships with third party recruitment agencies
- Coordinate all recruitment advertising, screening, shortlisting, phone screens, selection criteria, interviewing, testing, reference checking and police checks
- Liaise with relevant departments and new team members to ensure all transfers to and from the Island are confirmed
- Ensure accurate record keeping
- Liaise with successful applicants, including arrival, transfer arrangements, and Island living (if applicable)
- Ensure effective communication between the People and Culture team and Department Managers on all new employee arrivals
- In consultation with the Group People and Culture Manager ensure each vacancy is in line with organisational requirements
- Complete all other tasks provided by the P&C Manager
- Actively support and demonstrate SeaLink’s company vision, C.O.M.P.A.S.S. values and strategic goals
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a Recruitment role, preferably within a Hospitality/Tourism
- Proven experience working within an evolving fast-paced recruitment environment
- Proven experience in the end to end recruitment process
- Experience working with online recruitment software
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer literacy
- The ability to work at multiples sites

- An engaging personality with the ability to motivate and influence others to achieve business outcomes
- Ability to think strategically whilst being equally comfortable working in a hands-on environment
