Corporate and HCM Transformation
Adelaide | 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Are you at your best when the environment is changing, the problem is not neatly defined, and the business needs a practical way forward?

Kelsian Group is looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner who can operate confidently with executives, navigate complexity and turn ideas into solutions that work. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who combines strong technical HR capability with curiosity, sound judgement and a willingness to get into the detail when required.

Reporting to the Group Chief People and Culture Officer, you will partner with corporate executives and SeaLink Marine leaders while playing a key role in the delivery of our Workday HCM implementation. You will help drive transformation while ensuring leaders and employees continue to receive practical, high-quality People and Culture Support.

What you will do:

  • Partner with executives and senior leaders on workforce, organisation, performance, change and culture priorities.
  • Lead assigned People and Culture workstreams within the Workday HCM implementation, from business requirements and process design through to testing, readiness, adoption and stabilisation.
  • Bring structure to complex or ambiguous problems, developing practical solutions and following them through to implementation.
  • Maintain effective BAU support while balancing competing transformation and operational priorities.
  • Provide advice and support on complex employee and industrial relations matters, including enterprise agreements, awards, union engagement, consultation, disputes and performance matters.
  • Drive agreed culture, Reconciliation Action Plan, diversity and inclusion priorities.
  • Work across People and Culture, technology, payroll, finance and operational teams to co-design simple, consistent and scalable processes.
  • Support broader workforce, growth and cross-jurisdictional priorities as required.

What you will bring:

  • Significant experience as a Senior HR Business Partner within a large, complex organisation.
  • A strong track record of partnering with executives and corporate leadership teams.
  • Direct experience supporting or leading a Workday HCM implementation (or equivalent HCM).
  • Strong technical knowledge of employee and industrial relations within an enterprise agreement and unionised environment.
  • Experience delivering culture, reconciliation, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • The ability to take an unclear problem, identify what matters and create a structured path to resolution.
  • Strong project, change and process-design capability, supported by disciplined follow-through.
  • A curious and collaborative style, with the confidence to challenge constructively and work across organisational boundaries.
  • The ability to operate strategically while remaining practical, responsive and prepared to roll up your sleeves.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to work directly with senior leaders and contribute to a significant business and People and Culture transformation. You will have genuine accountability, broad exposure and the opportunity to shape solutions that improve how the organisation operates.

If you enjoy complex work, value practical outcomes and want to make a visible contribution, we want to hear from you!
