About the Role
As a Steward, you’ll be an essential part of delivering an unforgettable guest experience aboard our vessels. From preparing the venue and serving food and beverages, to maintaining impeccable hygiene and safety standards, your role ensures smooth sailing for every cruise. You’ll report to the Cruise Director or Venue Manager and play a key role in upholding SeaLink’s renowned service quality.
A typical day in the role may include:
Set up and pack down service areas to schedule and standard
Provide exceptional guest service with professionalism and a smile
Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu items, including dietary needs
Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all hospitality areas
Collaborate with the broader hospitality team to ensure seamless operations
Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation at all times

About You
You’re a reliable and enthusiastic hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments. You take pride in your appearance, have excellent communication skills, and love being part of a collaborative team. With a strong commitment to service and safety, you're ready to create memorable guest experiences during one of Sydney’s most iconic events. Holding a current RSA, you're confident in delivering food and beverage service to a high standard and can confidently step into a dynamic onboard role.
