Looking for an new opportunity - no FIFO work? 

 

 

SeaLink /Captain Cook are looking for bright and energetic individuals who have a strong work ethic, a great smile, and an enthusiastic attitude to join our "Rottnest crew" as part of our team operating scheduled weekly services  over our Spring and Summer months. 

 

We are seeking a versatile individual, with a passion for customer service and the ability to safely and competently skipper a variety of vessels, whilst supporting vessel safety and crew leadership. 

 

About the Role

Our Contract are full time, commencing between August and October and finishing at the end of April school holidays 2027.  There may be opportunities to extend this contract or convert to a casual role at the end of the contract. 

 

You will be required to work a mixture of shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends & public holidays. 

 

We are seeking highly experienced Masters, so this is a good role for someone looking for a change or break from offshore/FIFO work.

  • Available to work public holidays, weekends and evenings - Essential

These key requirements will be complimented by experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Senior First Aid Qualification - Essential
  • Minimum MED2 Qualification - Essential
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems - Essential 
  • Knowledge of WH&S Regulations - Essential
  • Master under 45m qualification
  • At least 2 years experience as a Master under 45m.
