About the Role

The Food and Beverage Duty Manager will be responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in the operations of the Food & Beverage department at Kingfisher Bay Resort according to the company standard. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the day-to-day functioning of the Resort’s Food and Beverage outlets, the Food & Beverage Duty Manager will assist in managing the food & beverage outlets in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager. 

 

Other responsibilities include maximizing profitability, meeting and exceeding customer’s needs and service expectations, ensuring team members are trained to the Kingfisher Bay Resort Standard, and training and supporting all team members in all areas of the operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Food and Beverage Supervisory role
  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Understanding of Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements under the QLD Liquor Licensing Laws
  • Authorization to live and work in Australia
  • Competent in barista and beverage making duties (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated food and beverage skills, including a la carte and bar service (highly regarded)
  • Food Safety Course (Essential) 
  • Current QLD RSA certificate (Essential) 
  • Espresso Coffee Making (Desirable)
  • RMLV certificate or ability to complete
