SeaLink WA/Captain Cook Cruises is looking for bright and energetic individuals who have a strong work ethic, a great smile, and an enthusiastic attitude to join 'the friendly crew in blue'.
We are recruiting for our Deckhands to join our crew in a full time role. Paying an hourly rate of $28-31 per hour depending on experience plus 33% penalties after 7pm and all weekend plus full time benefits of leave, training and career advancement.

SeaLink WA operates 3 business units locally, including Captain Cook Cruises, SeaLink Rottnest Island and government contracted Transperth Ferry division. The business has been renowned for individuals who are keen to progress their marine career with an exposure to many facets of vessel operations.
We are looking for deckhands with experience on boats.
As this is a long term role - we are looking for career marine crew - with GPH or STCW qualifications.
About the Role
Our Deckhands work between 3 and 5 shifts per week (up to 12 hours per day) depending on season and must be available for work over 6 days each week.
As services depart either Perth or Fremantle - you will also require access to own transport for our Fremantle services.
The Deckhand position is an integral part of our Operations, required to work in a team environment to ensure success.
The duties will include:
Assist with safe daily operations of the vessel, in accordance with policies and procedures of SeaLink WA
Initiating action to prevent unsafe incidents
Displaying a pleasant and helpful manner towards our customers
Ensure the highest standards of customer service at all times
Assist with the safe, efficient and timely boarding and disembarkation of all passengers
Work under the direction of the Master to maintain a safe and compliant marine operation
Participate in mooring activities with a high exposure to vessel line handling and deck equipment operation
General maintenance and cleanliness of the vessel
Delivery of on-board kiosk beverage sales compliant with responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines
Participate in scheduled emergency drills

Senior First Aid Qualification - Essential
Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - Essential
General Purpose Hand Near Coastal Certificate of Competency or STCW - Essential
Commercial Marine Experience - Essential
Exposure to high level customer service - Essential
