We are current seeking a Casual Car Parking Attendant to join our operations to work across Cleveland, Redland Bay and Dunwich locations.

About the role

This position requires a person who is a self-starter, energetic, motivated and enthusiastic. The Car Parking Attendant will be responsible for:

• Providing clear directions to passengers waiting to board or during boarding operations
• Ensuring boarding passes are collected from each passenger
• Maintaining radio communication with the vessel crew
• Following the instructions of the vessel Master
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers and responding to customer queries as addressed
• Communicating with and loading standby passengers as per company policy
• Providing assistance with other duties such as collecting café stock and restocking brochures.
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions and undertaking a role that involves extended periods of standing and walking.
• Ensuring safe and secure operations at all times.

About You

We are seeking someone who is:

• Flexible availability who can work weekdays during busy periods, including school holidays, together with regular weekend and public holiday shifts.
• Available at short notice to work when operational needs require
• Has a passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Has strong verbal & interpersonal skills
• Is a professional team player who is a self-starter 
• Is well presented at all times

 Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Driver’s License – Essential
• First Aid/CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain)
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of people in a busy operational environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide courteous and helpful assistance in a customer-facing environment
