Are you an experienced Integration Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building reliable, scalable integrations across enterprise platforms?

Kelsian Group is seeking a technically strong, hands-on Enterprise Integration Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team and help build and support the integrations connecting our global technology environment.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Applications, you will design, develop, implement and support enterprise integrations across a diverse application landscape, primarily using Workato, while working with APIs, event-driven integrations and file-based interfaces across Workday, Payroll, banking platforms and other enterprise applications.

This is an opportunity to play an important role in strengthening Kelsian's enterprise integration capability as our technology landscape continues to evolve.

About the role

You will work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Application Support teams, project teams, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver new integration capabilities, maintain reliable production services and continually improve our integration environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain enterprise integration workflows using Workato.
  • Build and support APIs, connectors and reusable integration components.
  • Develop REST, SOAP, API, event-driven and file-based integrations.
  • Deliver integrations across Workday, Payroll, operational and other enterprise applications.
  • Develop data transformations across JSON, XML, CSV and EIB formats.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed technical integration specifications.
  • Design data mappings and transformation logic between source and target systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, sequence diagrams, data mappings and error-handling guides.
  • Undertake unit and system integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Participate in deployment, rollback, recovery and post-go-live hypercare activities.
  • Troubleshoot production integration issues and undertake root cause analysis.
Monitor integration availability, performance, logging and alerting.
  • Apply secure engineering practices including source control, peer review, environment management and controlled production deployments.
  • Protect credentials, API keys, certificates and other secrets through approved security practices.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the reliability and efficiency of integration services.
  • Stay current with Workato capabilities, platform developments and integration best practice.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines strong hands-on technical capability with the ability to work collaboratively across both Technology and the broader business.

You will bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in integration development roles with hands-on iPaaS experience.
  • Strong experience with integration platforms — Workato is preferred, although experience with Boomi, MuleSoft or similar platforms will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, Webhooks and authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and API Keys.
  • Proficiency working with JSON, XML and scripting, such as JavaScript, for data transformation.
  • Good knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, error handling and exception logging.
  • Experience with source control, peer review and controlled software development practices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, environment management and controlled production deployment.
  • Knowledge of secrets management, authentication, privileged access and secure integration development.
  • Experience implementing integration monitoring, logging and alerting.
  • Understanding of rollback, service recovery and disaster recovery principles.
  • Experience securely handling business, financial and personal data across system interfaces.
  • Experience working within system implementation or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience integrating SaaS and on-premise systems within hybrid environments.
  • Exposure to agile project delivery methodologies will be well regarded.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent is required, with relevant iPaaS certifications also valued.
